1958 Jaguar Mark IX saloon

My Jaguar Racing Saloon is a unique car. I purchased her in July 2003 and was lucky to find her - there are never more than one or two for sale in the world! This lovely lady started her life in Ascot and I am the third owner - she has only covered 53,000 miles from new. The last owner re-chromed her and spent much money on the interior, exterior and on her mechanics.

Since her purchase, more money has been spent on updating her electrics. She is a warm car and performs well in the foulest of weather. Her first wedding was on the first Saturday in December and it rained persistently. She stood outside St Andrew's Church, Farnham in the pouring rain for well over an hour. Nevertheless she started beautifully and took the bride and groom to Pennyhill Park in style and with grace!

She was born on the 28th April 1958 and styled in the manner of the Franay company in France. We have all her history with acres of bills to indicate the amount of care and attention which has been lavished on her all her life. She has benefited from a recent re-spray and been re-chromed to a high standard. She has a new headlining and the heating system is highly effective.

It has to be said she is stunningly beautiful from the front and has the most gorgeous derriere!
